The 1% Challenge (OPC) is designed to be flexible and accommodating, recognizing that everyone has days when it might not be possible to practice mindfulness.
Here's how it works:
Participants in the 1% challenge will have 40 days to achieve 30 days of mindfulness practices. The 40 day window starts on the first day you participate during the challenge time period. This means, the counting of your consecutive days does not reset if you miss a day. Instead, the challenge keeps track of the total number of days you have logged in and participated.
For example:
If you practice mindfulness 3 days in a row, then miss a day, and then practice for the next 7 days, you would earn the 10-day reward. This is because the total number of days you have logged in and participated is 10, regardless of the missed day.
This structure gives you the flexibility to miss a few days within the 40-day challenge period while still working towards earning rewards. The challenge is not about perfect consistency, but about overall engagement and the development of a mindfulness habit.
Remember, to get the most out of the challenge, practice mindfulness as regularly as possible. Even if you miss a day, you can always continue from where you left off the next day!
